TIMES TO DANCE

truth.

Can the same apply to singing?

luckymag:

These are appropriate times to dance:

  • Brushing teeth in morning
  • In the shower
  • Doing your makeups
  • While perusing closet
  • In the dressing room in any local clothing emporium
  • When using hairbrush as microphone
  • On the subway platform
  • In meetings (toe tapping under table)
  • On the dancefloor (duhr)
  • Whenever you want who cares bye.

This came out today.

It is wonderful and experimental and lush and expressive.

Thank you for your music, Fiona!

Fuck Yeah Computer Science Major Penguin: A programmer is walking along a beach and finds a lamp. → fyeahcomputersciencemajorpenguin.tumblr.com

theitproblems:

He rubs the lamp, and a genie appears. “I am the most powerful genie in the world. I can grant you any wish, but only one wish.”

The programmer pulls out a map, points to it and says, “I’d want peace in the Middle East.”

The genie responds, “Gee, I don’t know. Those people…

Sometimes I think I require distractions. Seeing as when left to my own thoughts, I contemplate things like… what are the origins of the ice cream cone? And at what time and by whom was it decided that traffic lights would be oriented the way the are and the color green was deemed to mean ‘go’, etc?

Are these even things that people should wonder about normally? Sigh. And with such information constantly available to me via the interwebs, I’m beginning to believe such strange curiosity will never cease.

There are days where I begin to see how applicable the statement “The cake is a lie” is.

But then again, I am often the one baking the cake. So not in the literal sense. But it still applies figuratively.

Carry on.
